We had a little lye in to recover from our travelling days: you don’t sleep properly on the train. We then found a reasonably cheap and reputable looking (after our last experience) laundrette, found some brunch and then went in search of a hairdressers: I was keen to get a trim and remove the remaining brown dye from my hair in order to look more like myself and less ginger! Martin also needed a trim. Within no time we found somewhere and negotiated a price. Martin was quickly dispatched after having his hair done. He then went for a wander, got a massage and then an hour and a half later, when I was done (I am never permanently dying my hair dark ever again!) picked me up and paid. Hey presto I am blonde again!!!!
We then took a lovely walk along the beach, dipping our toes in the warm Thai Gulf Sea. There was a lot of barnacle covered debris which had been washed up on the beach, we assumed it was during last night’s little storm.
When it got cooler we went for a short run; it was so humid it felt like you couldn’t catch your breath properly. We then went out and had dinner…a simple yet enjoyable day.
